Die Free Software Foundation Europe zu Besuch bei der LUGMOE
Endlich ist es soweit. Die rheinländische Gruppe der Free Software Foundation Europe besucht am 28. Oktober`08 zum LUGMOE Treffen ab 20:00Uhr die Linux User Group Mönchengladbach. Die FSFE ist die Europäische Schwesterorganisation der US-amerikanischen Free Software Foundation.
Die FSFE beschäftigt sich seit dem 10. März 2001 aus europäischer Sicht mit allen Aspekten Freier Software. Sie unterstützt insbesondere das GNU-Projekt, leistet aber auch für die Entwicklung und Verbesserung anderer Freier Software und GNU-basierter Systeme wie GNU/Linux einen wichtigen Beitrag.
Die Free Software Foundation Europe ist eine gemeinnützige, regierungsunabhängige Organisation.
