Lugmoe 10 Jahre - Linux User Group Mönchengladbach

Yes, 2012 – the year of apocalypse or the year of changes. Changes for me and my lovely girlfriend. We plan to marry at July  7th in Bremen (Germany) (the city where we both been born and grown up in).

After 2 years and 5 months at Moenchengladbach I go back to Bremen and start a new job as a systemadministrator. My new company is near the “Technologie Park Bremen”. A good friend and I will work together in an IT team in this office. My office isn’t the headquarter, but cooler than the other offices (!).

I will live in a furnished arpartment at Bremen for a short time. My girlfriend and I have to live in a long-distance relationship for a half year but after the wedding my girlfriend moves with the cats and stuff to Bremen, too. We are coming back to Bremen earlier than expected.

I hope so to stay in contact with the good guys and friends at “North Rhine-Westfalia” (especially the members of the LUG MOE, ORR and “NiNGs”).

Over a month ago the 28c3 congress closed its doorts. But better a late review than no review. This congress was my first time and my first CCC event.

The 28c3 – codename “behind enemy lines” – was a great journey to Berlin (Germany) and a great experience to me. I traveled by train from Bremen to Berlin city and checked in at the hostel “citystay”. It isn’t very far away from the “Berliner Congress Center” (= BCC).  In the neighboorhood is a super market with “club mate” (the best caffeined tea drink in the world !) and good stuff for fair prices.

On December the 27th the official congress program started in the morning with lots of talks, projects and  workshops. I found a good seat at the cool debian table and link me to the congress network. I was very impressed by the kind of visitors, projects and technical features.

Before I traveled to Berlin, I talked with some people about the congress and the very specific flavour. I heared some interesting stuff and I wanted to see these “features” and cool stuff.

The wired network was very good and the uplink to the internet (www) was very strong (~ 20Gbps). You could see the talks in 3 halls, dvbt or internet media streaming service. The wireless network was ok, but not my favourite.

The international audience was cool and very friendly. You could find any time or any place a talking partner or a listener for your projects. This was the “free open mind” for knowledge exchange. I like this way.

The location was great and a very good infrastructure. But the air conditions was very cold and flawly by the windows.

After 4 days the congress was over and I traveled back by train to Bremen. I gladly remember my 4 days of congress.

I wish I could go again at 2012.

I like to share my code and solutions. In this blog post you will see my two mysql bash scripts. The first script dumps all databases in separate dump files [2] and the second restores each database [3]. I like to use a secured config file for the database login like [1].
I use the backup script together with logrotate to make my daily backups on my own servers [4].

An wen denkt man zuerst, wenn man das Wort "Psychoanalyse" hört? Na ...? Keine Idee? Dann helfe ich euch auf die Sprünge: Prof. Sigmund Freud.
Von Stil gibt es nun eine Hörspielreihe über den Begründer der Psychoanalyse. (Die Seite von Stil dazu ist sehr schlecht, und es wird auch nur die erste Geschichte erwähnt, aber bei den bekannten Lieferanten von CDs oder Downloads findet man alle Episoden.)
In den Geschichten geht es aber weniger darum, wie Freud zu seinen Theorien gekommen ist, sondern will man eher anhand von Kriminalfällen seine Ideen erläutern. Aber beginnen wir am Anfang:
Die Reihe spielt in den 1920'ern und in der ersten Geschichte geht es um den Mord an einer Schauspielerin, und der ermittelnde Kriminalbeamte ist durch die Art und Weise, wie die Tat vollzogen wurde fertig mit den Nerven, und sucht beim Professor Rat. Einerseits um sich behandeln zu lassen, andererseits um bei der Suche nach dem Täter zu helfen, und das macht er auch.
Keine Sorge, Freud wird kein Ermittler wie man ihn aus modernen Krimiserien kennt. Er bleibt fast immer im Hintergrund, und lässt den Beamten und seine Tochter Anna die Ermittlungen anstellen.
Es gibt in der Serie (bisher habe ich die ersten fünf Episoden gehört, inzwischen sind aber sieben Episoden veröffentlicht) keinen Erzähler. Als Ausgleich gibt es aber hin und wieder ein Selbstgespräch von Freud zwischen seine Ich, Über-Ich und dem Es (jede Stimme hat einen eigenen Sprecher, was ich sehr gut finde).
Wo wir gerade bei den Sprechern sind: Unter ihnen findet man alte bekannte, Hans Peter Hallwachs spricht den Protagonisten, Andreas Fröhlich übernimmt den Carl Gruber, und Felicitas Woll ist Anna Freud.
Von ihnen ist man nur gutes Gewohnt, und genau das bekommt man. Man nimmt ihnen ihre Rollen absolut ab, und man hat nicht den Eindruck, dass sie den Text einfach nur runter lesen.
Mit Musik wird ebenfalls spärlich umgegangen, eher verlässt man sich auf Geräusche, aber wenn Musik im spiel ist, dann ist sie passend zu der Zeit. E-Gitarren und Bässe wird man keine finden, dafür aber Klavier-Stücke oder Geigen.
Die Geschichten halten sich nicht zu 100% an den korrekten historischen Hintergrund. So wird in einer Episode eine Familienaufstellung gemacht, die nicht von Freud erfunden wurde. Aber sowas fällt nur Hörern auf, die sich mit Psychotherapie und Psychoanalyse gut auskennen.
Wenn die Geschichte zu Ende ist, sollte man am besten noch ein paar Augenblicke warten, denn im Anschluss hört man meist noch einen Kommentar von einem Experten zu dem jeweiligen Hauptthema der Geschichte und sagt, wie viel das mit der Wirklichkeit zu tun hat, ob das so in der Psychoanalyse vorkommt, was es für eine psychische Störung ist, die thematisiert wurde und so weiter, man lernst also noch etwas dabei.
Und das ist ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt: Die Reihe eignet sich nicht zum nebenbei-hören. Ich rate euch, konzentriert euch auf die Episoden. Dann versteht man den Kommentar am Schluss besser, und bekommt sehr viel geboten.
